Dr. Julia A. Shalit – The Indianapolis Dental Veneer Dentist
Dr. Julia Alex Shalit was a very early adopter of veneers technology and has since performed dozens of successful veneer procedures on her patients – transforming her patients’ self-esteem as she transforms their smiles. She has also added Lumineers to her extensive cosmetic dental toolkit and feels strongly that veneers or Lumineers is a course to be taken only after a thorough analysis by a qualified general dentist who can assess all the procedural options available for the patient’s specific issue and the long-term impact of veneers on the patient’s dental health. To this end, Dr. Shalit values her general dental skills even more than her high-level of veneers and Lumineer training and experience.
Dr. Shalit earned her dental degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class. She has done postgraduate research in the area of Planned Genetics, and was asked to serve part-time on the faculty while still a student. She has also done research for the Oral Health Institute on the use of lasers in the early detection of cavities. Dr. Shalit has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Purdue University.
Dr. Shalit is an active member of:

Dr. Julia has been dedicated to excellence and lifelong learning for her entire career as a dentist. She has completed postgraduate studies in aesthetic/cosmetic dentistry, the use of porcelain veneers, and the Invisalign system of invisible braces. She is constantly evaluating technology for items, which can make your family’s dental procedures less invasive and less painful.
