When asked “Has veneer technology changed much in the past few years?”, Dr. Shalit replies:

“There have been dramatic advances in veneer technology which really impact on the way we apply veneers. The quality of the ceramic has improved allowing for a thinner veneer ultimately requiring much less tooth preparation than in the past. That means less natural tooth needs to be removed to make room for the veneer. Patients are delighted with that since they hate losing any of their natural tooth structure.”
